Ask Judi! This week I'd like to present the wonderful efforts of Grady Elementary School in New Mexico. This flag was sent to me by teacher Martha Richardson. She wrote: "It was made by our entire elementary school. We are a small but wonderful rural school (105 students K-12) in eastern New Mexico. It was a very touching project. When we asked the kids what it meant to them...the handprints symbolized how our school and our country is holding together and the stars show that we are united and a family and that no one can put out our light."
Thank you for sharing this with all of us, Martha! Note: For 'text only' subscribers, you can see the picture of the flag by going to this week's online HTML newsletter archives at: http://www.eduhound.com/ewarchives/101101.html Enjoy! Each week, I'll use this area to answer questions that have been streaming in from YOU! As the saying goes, "If you have a question or comment, chances are that others have it too!" So please write us at EduHoundWeekly@eduhound.com and watch for your answer here!
