From the Desk of Judi!

In honor of my son CJ, who will celebrate his 13th birthday tomorrow, this week's topic is:

INSECTS

As a native of New Hampshire, I thought it only fitting to include a Ladybug.

The Ladybug (Adalia bipunctata) was made the state insect in 1977.

Some sites to help in this effort:

Note: Instead of copying and pasting these links into your browser, simply go to www.eduhound.com/mainpage.cfm and select our "Science" category.

Good Luck!

Ask Judi!

This week's question comes from Stacy:

"As April is National Poetry Month, I'd like to review different types of poetry with my middle school students. Do you know of any sites that detail how to write various poems?"

Certainly, Stacy

Note: Poetry, as with any form of expression, may not always be appropriate for all ages. Please review these sites before allowing students to visit them.

Here are some sites to get you started:

Good Luck!

Each week, I'll use this area to answer your questions, post announcements, and provide interesting input! So please email me at EduHoundWeekly@eduhound.com and watch for your answer here!
