WELCOME to the 86th Issue of EduHound Weekly!

From the Desk of Judi!

This week's topic is:

EASTER & PASSOVER

Easter is the most important festival of the Christian year, celebrating the life and resurrection of Christ. It is the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox. Easter is celebrated on Sunday, March 31st.

Passover is the 8 day observance commemorating the freedom and exodus of the Israelites from Egypt during the reign of the Pharaoh Ramses II. A time of family gatherings and lavish meals called Seders, the story of Passover is retold through the reading of the Haggadah. Passover begins at sundown on Wednesday, March 27th.

Ask Judi!

This week's input comes from Donna & Luann regarding last week's topic, Online Collaborative Projects:

From Donna: "This is for Terry (& everyone else) who wrote in asking about Internet Projects. You might want to pass on my PowerPoint called Getting Engaged with Online Projects. "

From Luann: "I am looking for classes around the globe to participate in an online collaborative project called Terrifically Tall Tales. Participants will be asked to read tall tale stories and then do activities around them such as write a poem, design a book cover, create their own tall tale, and so on. If anyone is interested please visit our website for more information."
