From the Desk of Judi!

This week's topic is:

CHINESE NEW YEAR

Chinese New Year is celebrated in late January to early February (depending on the year - it starts on a New Moon and ends with the lantern festival on the full moon 15 days later).

In 2004, Chinese New Year is celebrated on January 22; the year 2004 is the Year of the Monkey . In the Chinese calendar, it is the year 4701.

Ask Judi!

This week's question comes from Mark:

"I teach television production at the high school level and I'm looking for ideas and lesson plans.  Whenever I search the web it usually leads me to site appropriate for middle school and elementary.  Do you know where I can find high school aged materials?"
